Outcome
90% fewer delays
A global engineering & R&D services company supporting Fortune 500 clients in automotive, aerospace, industrial machinery and energy. The firm runs 1,200+ concurrent client projects across delivery centres in the United States, Europe, India and Australia — with deeply technical, multi-disciplinary teams.
Salesforce had been deployed for opportunity tracking, but project management, resource allocation, timesheet capture and financial forecasting lived in disconnected tools across each geography — making global delivery governance nearly impossible.
Fragmented project tracking
Each geography ran a different mix of Salesforce, Excel and Jira — no single view of project health, milestones or risks.
Resource allocation in spreadsheets
120+ weekly RM spreadsheets reconciled by hand. Bench was invisible until invoicing slipped.
No real-time delivery visibility
CXOs received project status decks 10 days after month-end. Course-correction was always reactive.
Revenue leakage on changes
Scope changes weren't captured in CRM, so 8–12% of billable effort never made it into invoices.
Localisation gaps
US, EU, India and ANZ teams had inconsistent stage names, currencies and approval thresholds.
Tool sprawl
Salesforce, two PSA tools and an HRMS — none integrated, all owned by different IT teams.
We sequenced the rollout to deliver visible value in every geography within the first 90 days, then layered automation and integrations region-by-region without disrupting active projects.

Custom objects for Project, Milestone, Deliverable, Resource Assignment and Time Entry — designed for multi-currency, multi-jurisdiction operations.
Standardised approvals for project initiation, scope changes, timesheet sign-off and project closure across all four geographies.
CRM Analytics dashboards for delivery heads, RMs and CXOs — utilisation, margin, schedule variance and risk in one place.
Bi-directional sync with Workday for resources/skills and with engineering project tools for milestone progress.
Automated forecast roll-ups by BU, geo and client. Threshold-based alerts when margin drops below configured floors.
Region-specific training, currency and approval threshold defaults, plus translated UI guidance where needed.
